7 years and counting
It is so great to be home tonight. We figured it up and we have spent more days away from home since June 1st than days spent at home! I am exhausted! We (I) finally got the house back in order Saturday and it was a big sigh of relief. Poor Russ had to hear me whine about moving all the furniture back into place since he was stuck in Fayetteville....he has been there FOREVER! Of course, he reminded me several times I could wait until he got home so he could do it....what, and loose the chance to rub that in that I did all that!! :) This did not matter a bit to him since it has been 7 years since we have been married! Yep, that's right 7 years! Tuesday Lexi asked mom if we had our anniversary yet. Mom said yes, it was yesterday...Lexi got all upset and started crying and when mom asked her why she was upset she said...."but I wanted to see their anniversary..." How precious is she!!
I went up to Fayetteville Sunday and stayed until today. The girls stayed with mom and dad....it was so wierd! Here we were in a one bedroom apartment with NO responsibilities....I had enough of it by today! I wanted my babies and all that goes along with it! We had a great time, ate too much, and spent some time with Wes before he headed out West. We ate at Hermans, Hugo's, Chili's, and Shoguns. My favorite was Herman's! Today (Wednesday) I got to have lunch with a best friend from high school...Kristen! It was so great. I love to see someone who meant the world to me years ago and still now and realize we can pick up like we never left each others side! Love you Kris! Didn't get a pic! Next time though~
