Just a swimmin
Last week Caroline and I took the kids swimming at our neighborhood pool...Here's how the story goes. Pull up, get 5 kiddos to the pool, realize don't have card to get in, leave, go home, trying to explain to 5 kiddos why we can't get in the pool even thought we just got there, try again, swim, swim, throw up on your mother....yes! Lexi threw up ALL over me and the entire swimming pool....the child drank some pool water. As she started to throw up I handed Lauren to a complete, and total, stranger as I tried to run to the gate of the pool....she puked the entire way. Stopped, looked up at me and asked if she could go back to the big pool....uhhhh, NO! Oh, the glamorous life of a mother. The good part, the stranger would not even give Lauren to Caroline....she wanted to give her back to her mother! Way to try and protect my child. She was so sweet and a little overwhelmed....college girl not wanting to see a 3 year old puke all over their mother! :)
Overall, great time! Lexi (and mommy) showered and got back in...yes, they let us! This time we stayed in the kiddie pool!!
Props out to Caroline...none of this even phased her!
