We spent last week in Gulf Shores with all of Russ's family! There were 17 of us....I think! It was wild and crazy but a lot of fun. We were in two condos and all over the place :) The ride down was not bad at all. We spent the night in Hattiesburg last Sunday night the 6th and then headed out on Monday. We stayed until Saturday and drove the whole way home. The girls did great and we were ready to come home to our flooded mess! Lauren did great on the beach....she literally mostly slept the entire time. We would go down around 10 which is naptime and she would fall asleep to the waves and wake up around 12 for lunch~ The people around us just could not believe it. I would freeze water bottles and place them under her blankets in the frog and she stayed cool. Lexi was a great big sister and was very helpful. We ate at some great places one of our favorites was Cotton's toward Orange Beach. Our other favorite is Crab Shack but we did not eat there this year. We also took a different route getting down there this year and shaved off about an hour getting to Jackson!! Yea! It only took us 4 hours to get there from Little Rock~! I am posting a ton of pics in the slide show (40 to be exact) so I thought I would pick out my favorites and post around them!

What amazing pics! What a beautiful family! Great pic of the four of you! I know those beach pics can be impossible to get sometimes! The girls are precious! Lexi looks so old in these pics! And Lauren looks so happy! Maybe we can get all the kids together when we are in AR in a couple of weeks.

Love your pictures! We're headed to Gulf Shores in August - can't wait! But I have to ask, how did you make it to Jackson in 4 hours?!? I'd love to know your shortcut!!! Also, tell me about Cotton's and Crab Shack - we haven't been there. We like Lulu's and Louisiana Lagniape. Looks like you guys had a great time - hope Georgia enjoys the beach as much as Lauren!
